A passerby discovered Little Hippo, a severely ill dog with a large tumor on his chin, struggling to survive. His condition was dire—his jaw was nearly gone, and he could barely eat. Despite his suffering, his gentle spirit shone through. The passerby immediately sought help from rescuers, and volunteers quickly rushed him to the hospital.

A Grim Diagnosis

Initial examinations revealed the severity of his condition. Little Hippo had a malignant tumor that was too advanced for surgical removal. Despite the slim chances of recovery, the rescuers refused to give up. With anti-inflammatory injections and chemotherapy, they hoped to give him more time, free from pain.
